Research Institute for Economic Development (RIED) Report Releases Scores for the 2022 Legislative Session

Oklahoma City (June 20, 2022) – The Research Institute for Economic Development (RIED) has released its 2022 RIED Report. The RIED Report is a compilation of scores for legislators and bills. RIED creates a profile of each legislator’s individual voting record for bills dealing with business, industry, job creation and economic growth issues deemed important by the private sector. All legislation introduced during the session regarding the issues listed is also evaluated. Each bill is evaluated as either pro-growth or anti-growth by a private sector focus group. Scored bills are pivotal to the economy.

The RIED Report Scores can be found here.

About RIED

RIED was created in 1997, as a nonpartisan organization, by a joint task force of the Oklahoma City and Tulsa chambers and The State Chamber to ensure the Oklahoma Legislature maintains a pro-business, pro-economic growth and pro-jobs creation mindset. For 24 years, RIED has analyzed thousands of pieces of legislation and evaluated the extent to which each legislator acts to advance or hold back business issues.

In early 2022, RIED joined The State Chamber Research Foundation, where its mission will continue. For more information visit www.riedreport.com.
